Kip is uncertain about what the summer has in store for him. With his mother newly remarried and on her honeymoon, he is sent to stay with his Gran and five female cousins. But things become more interesting one day when Kip comes across a binder hidden in the walls of the attic—a story written by his dead father. Over the course of the summer Kip discovers there is more to the story "Operation Mitochondria" than he understands.
