NEW - 2023 Ontario Public Libraries Climate Benchmarking Survey Report

In the Spring of 2023, OLA’s Climate Action Committee created its first climate benchmarking survey. As the survey was the first of its kind in Ontario, we hoped it would capture the current climate affecting the library landscape, and how libraries were responding to these challenges. It is our hope that this survey will shed light on those challenges, provide a road map forward, and celebrate the work already being done.

Climate Action Week

Saturday, November 2 – Friday, November 8, 2024

Join libraries and other GLAM organizations across BC and Ontario to focus on the climate change related challenges and emergencies facing our communities. Our goal is to raise awareness, answer our communities’ growing needs, and articulate clearly that libraries are places to connect people and access resources on climate change.

Read4Climate Rack Card and Posters

We intend these Read4Climate (R4C) rack card and poster designs to help libraries share and promote the many ways we can support our communities to learn about and respond to the climate crisis.

We hope they provide talking points, conversation starters, information, ideas/possibilities, and encouragement – in a positive way.

You can add your logo and/or QR code and print or share in various ways.
