OSLA SLAM - Coding + Technology in Your School Library

Event Overview
This OSLA Slam, hosted by members of the OSLA Council, will showcase creative ideas and initiatives that OSLA members are involved with in their school libraries.
Want to enhance digital learning in your library? Join OSLA council as they dive into new and innovative tools that will help you empower students through digital tools. Whether you’re tech savvy or new to coding and tech and just getting started, this session will help you develop your skills.
The Ontario School Library Association (OSLA)’s new initiative which launched in January was a huge success. The first “OSLA Slam” was all about the Super Conference and participants learned many tips and tricks on how to maximize their experience. Our second “Slam” focused on the Forest of Reading program.
The goal of each slam is to inspire, motivate and engage members. “OSLA Slams” are virtual events for school library professionals to network, share, ask questions, and honour the incredible impact school libraries have on our communities. The OSLA Slam takes place on a regular basis and this month’s topic is “Coding + Technology in Your School Library.” Registering for the OSLA Slam is easy. Simply click on the link included in this email.
