2022-2023 OLA Elections

Elections are held when multiple candidates are nominated for one position. If there is only one nomination for a position, that position is acclaimed and an election is not required.

What does it mean to volunteer on a Board or Council?

1. Involvement in positive change for libraries and professional practice.
2. Learn and participate in province-wide initiatives relating to various library sectors
3. Connect, collaborate, and network with colleagues around the province.

Below are the open positions for 2022 Election. Please note we are no longer accepting nominations for council positions. The next call for nominations is September 2023.
