HAMILTON, ON (October 16, 2023) – It’s time to celebrate Ontario Public Library Week (OPLW) taking place on October 16 to 20. This year, the theme is “Libraries for Life / Biblios pour la vie.”
TORONTO, ON (August 15, 2023): On behalf of the Ontario Library Association’s Executive and Board of Directors, it gives us great pleasure to announce Michelle Arbuckle as OLA’s next Executive Director. Michelle will begin in her new role with the Association on September 5th, 2023.
TORONTO, ON (April 5, 2023): Successfully stewarding Canada’s largest and longest running library and information services non-profit organization, the Ontario Library Association (OLA), is no small feat. Doing so with the grace and aplomb consistently demonstrated over the course of fifteen years (and fifteen consecutive OLA Boards and Divisional Councils) will be the legacy left by Shelagh Paterson, the Association’s Executive Director, when she departs her role in August 2023.
