InsideOLBA is for and about members of the Ontario Library Boards’ Association (OLBA). The publication describes the decisions and activities of OLBA leadership, explains OLBA programs, and provides news about Ontario’s public library boards. It is distributed twice per year electronically.

Meet the Editor



A member of the North Grenville Public Library Board since 2002, Kerry Badgley earned his PhD in Canadian History in 1996, and has been a sessional lecturer at Carleton University since then. He has also taught in the School of Information Studies at the University of Ottawa. Kerry served as Editor of the Journal of the Canadian Historical Association from 2003 to 2007, and is currently Book Review Co-editor of The Canadian Historical Review. Kerry also had the honour to serve as Chair of the OLBA Board (2016), and as President of the Ontario Library Association (2017). Finally, Kerry and his wife, Sue, created and continue to oversee the Sarah Badgley Literacy Fund for Rural Ontario Children (administered by OLA), named in honour of their late daughter.
