Spring into Sustainability: Greening Your School Library

OSLA Council About This Session
Do you have an eco-friendly school library learning commons? Would you like to know what steps you could take to help reduce your carbon-footprint and “green” your space? Join us to discover some interesting and innovative ways to introduce some sustainability strategies into your school library learning commons. Learn about where social justice considerations and curriculum expectations might be used in cross-curricular ecological inquiries. We’ll also share the latest in “green” #kidlit and talk about how you can embed these texts in your library programming to help infuse an eco-friendly message throughout the year.
About School Libraries Connect
The Ontario School Library Association (OSLA) is excited to announce a new initiative designed to inspire, motivate and engage its members — School Libraries Connect sessions. School Libraries Connect sessions are virtual events for school library professionals to network, share, ask questions, and celebrate the incredible impact school libraries have on our communities. To view all topics taking place throughout the year, view the School Libraries Connect website.
Sessions take place monthly between September - June, will be available live and on-demand, and are included in the cost of your OSLA membership. Not an OSLA member? Join today!
