Freedom to Read Week: A Conversation About Censorship in Libraries

Virtual

Freedom to Read Week is an opportunity to raise awareness of censorship and reaffirm our commitment to principles that help to ensure a vibrant and inclusive society.

Book and program challenges are happening in our libraries and across the continent at an increasing rate. Intellectual freedom is under threat in Canada. Join members of the Freedom to Read Week steering committee to hear about the 2026 campaign, reflect on your own experiences with intellectual freedom, and share concerns, ideas or wins with the group.
