Library Space Design Challenge: Roseville Public School
Education Institute

The third and final session in the Library Space Design Challenges virtual workshop series! Join other library workers and architects to troubleshoot and find creative solutions together.
Roseville Public School is part of the Greater Essex County District School Board, and is located within a lower-income area in Windsor, ON. The "Raven's Nest" library is situated in a large space at the centre of an open-concept school layout. It currently uses shelves as walls in order to control the traffic of students and other visitors travelling around the school, leaving 30%-50% of shelf space blank. Overall, students love coming to the library and checking out books, and is built using the heart and dedication of our staff and students, despite a significant lack of funding to keep the library going.
