Join representatives from Hamilton Public Library, Stouffville Library, and Vaughan Public Libraries, as they share what they’ve learned from planning and running MakerFests at three very differently sized systems. They’ll share lessons learned from pitching the idea to management to picking your team, vendor considerations, event-day scheduling and more. Registrants will walk away ready to get started with their own Makerfest planning.
MakerFests are a collaborative effort, and this session will be one too: there will be chances throughout for participants to share their thoughts and a Q&A session at the end. There’s no brain-trust quite like a group of library professionals, and we’ll be taking notes to improve our next events.
