About OLITA
The Ontario Library and Information Technology Association (OLITA) is a community passionate about exploring the use of technology in information management organizations. A volunteer-driven organization, we champion the use of emerging technology to enrich information services, projects, and collections, and strive to make technology accessible to all. OLITA works to:
- Connect people, virtually and in-person, to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration in regard to technology;
- Build partnerships with other technology organizations, to widen and strengthen our network;
- Cultivate innovation by sharing ideas, promoting emerging technology, and offering professional development opportunities;
- Advocate for equal access to technology and the importance of digital literacy.
