This has made solo librarians particularly resilient within their organizations. From defending the library’s value, to troubleshooting technology, to curating the whole collection, solo librarians consistently demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and creativity.

Come share with us your essential solo skills (skills you’d absolutely want to have if you worked alone, or skills you absolutely need to have) and your oddest library jobs. Discussion will focus on health and hospital library skills but many skills are applicable to other domains of librarianship.
