Collection development in hospital and health science libraries is an evolving landscape with budgets, patron demands, vendor pricing, and user analytics all factoring into collection purchases and cuts. Together, we will share examples and challenges of collection development and management in our institutions. Attendees will gain insight into how peers are navigating budget pressures, clinical information needs, and emerging trends in health information collections.
