How to Get IT Right: Tackling Accessible Tech
Monday June 7, 2021 | 10:00am – 5:00pm ET | Register Here
2020 was a year filled with challenges and constant change, and with the move to increased online services, libraries across the province reported new and unique challenges when it came to providing modified services in an accessible way. We are thrilled to be able to present a full day’s worth of sessions that will ensure libraries are keeping accessibility top-of-mind, meeting the needs of their customers, inspiring new ways of providing service, and planning for inclusive and diverse service models.
Our program will include featured speakers from the disabilities community, an expert on user experience design and accessibility, as well as a library panel discussion, concurrent “lightning style” sessions to spark conversation, networking opportunities, and the chance to highlight key accessibility technologies that are available to libraries.
