Doing it yourself: Designing (small-scale) Library Research

Date & Time:

Zoom, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 12:00-1:00 P.M. ET

Most of us understand the value of evidence-informed decision-making, but when it comes to doing your own research locally it’s not always easy to know where to start. In this webinar, we’ll go through some of the basics of planning and implementing small-scale research projects, when you don’t have a ton of resources to work with.

Learning outcomes:

  • How to develop a good research question;
  • Steps to designing your research project;
  • Knowledge mobilization – how to turn what you learned in action
About the Presenters:

Erika Heesen – Perth & District Library | Chief Librarian
Sarah Roberts – Ontario Library Association | Advocacy & Research Officer
